Add a clean, custom foot ring to your handmade plates with a 3D printed foot ring mold featuring your own logo.
This mold is designed to press directly into a clay slab, creating a foot ring on the bottom of your piece. Simply submit your logo, and we’ll turn it into a custom foot ring design for your pottery.
The standard mold diameter measures approximately 145 mm (large) and 45 mm (small), measured from the outer edge of the foot ring. The 3D print is 1.5 cm thick, allowing you to create a foot ring up to approximately 1.5 cm tall, depending on how you press and finish your clay.
We can also make other custom sizes. Please send us a message before ordering if you have a specific size in mind.
For best results, your logo must be submitted in black and white. Simple, high-contrast designs work best. Thin lines, small lettering, fine details, gradients, or shadows may not translate well into the mold or into clay. The thicker the lines and the bolder the lettering, the cleaner and stronger the cutout will be.
Please note: this is a custom 3D printed product. Each mold is made to order based on the logo you provide. The new filament colour we use is green, we no longer offer white. Please see our other 3D listings for colour reference.
Production may take up to 2 weeks. Shipping time determined by selection at checkout.
How to Use
Sprinkle corn starch onto your clay slab before using to help prevent them sticking together. Place the mold on your clay slab and press evenly to create the foot ring impression. Remove carefully, then smooth and refine as needed.
Care Instructions
This mold is made from 3D printed PLA Plastic. Hand wash only. Do not put in the dishwasher, kiln, microwave, or expose to high heat.
Notes
Results may vary depending on clay softness, slab thickness, pressure, and release method. Best used with firm, even slabs.
Custom products are final sale once production has started.
