Modular Plate Press System

Create an endless variety of handbuilt plates with this modular 3D printed plate press system.

The Base Set includes all three plate sizes, while interchangeable border sets let you completely change the look of your finished piece. Simply select the Base Set and your preferred Border Set from the options before adding the item to your cart.

This set is NOT compatible with our original plate presses.

Perfect for creating dinnerware, dessert plates, trinket dishes, catchalls, serving pieces, soap dishes, and more while keeping your plate sizes consistent.

How to Use

1. Roll out a slab of clay, compress surface.
   
2. Cut the clay using the outer frame.
3. Place the slab onto a piece of foam and cover it with plastic.
4. Use the outer frame to help align and center the inner press before pressing it into the clay to form the rim.

The foam allows the clay to move naturally, creating a smooth, even profile without stretching or tearing.

Choosing Your Options

This set includes all 5 base shape sets (circle, square, wide oval, narrow oval, rectangle) and all borders for each one.

Notes

• Each mold is 3D printed, so slight layer lines or minor surface variations are normal and do not affect performance.
• Final plate dimensions may vary slightly depending on your clay body, slab thickness, forming method, and firing shrinkage.
• Please note that the petals can be difficult to work with as they are more likely to crack. To reduce cracking, do not stack until after bisque, do not put excess pressure on petals, compress slab thoroughly, dry slowly
